Nu to U Help

This section is split into three sections, (1)general,(2)buying and (3)selling.

(1) General

Nu to U is a website that allows you to advertise clothes that are unwanted but in a nearly new condition. There is no administration fee to buy any of the items on the website, the seller pays this, which is 10% of the item cost. The postage and packaging is also a cost that is paid for by the seller. To sell or buy on the site firstly registration is required. It is extremely important to note that the registered email address must be the same one as you use in PayPal. All transactions are carried out in PayPal. If the email address is different, then a new PayPal account will be required to get or receive any money.

(2) Buying

To purchase an item that you like on the site. You will firstly need to be registered on the site and logged in, this can be seen in the top right of the page. On the More Info page, for the item that you want to buy, click the "Buy Now" button at the bottom of the page. You will need to be logged in, if you are not then you will be taken to the login/register page. The PayPal "Buy Now" button will take you to PayPal, where you log in with the correct email address and payment is passed to the seller. An email is sent from the seller and PayPal with all the relevant information. Payment is also between yourself and the seller.

(3) Selling

The seller must first register on the site.
Click the "Add New Item" on the main menu page.
There are 8 sections to this.

• Select the category that you want the item to appear from the dropdown
• The title of the item - this appears below the image on the category page. It must be less than 24 characters long. Any more and it will not show.
• Select the The next step is to upload an image of the product. This must be of good quality and below 4mb of size. The image should be portrait size as the site sets the image size to 200 by 275 pixels. To upload the image when logged in, click the "Choose File" button, browse to the image that you want to upload from your computer.
• The item reference number - this can be anything that you want, that uniquely refers to your item.
• The size of the item that you are selling.
• The price of the item that you are selling. This should include the 10% administration fee and the postage and packaging fee. This price is the price that the buyer will purchase the item for. There must not be any add-ons.
• The long description, this appears only on the more info pages. There is no limit to the number of characters.

Click the "Submit" button to add the item.

You will be contacted by email by the buyer, when your item is sold.

Once the item is sold it will automatically be immediately removed from the site.
